Contacting your local media is a great way to promote your school’s voucher collection within the local community. The local media may want to interview you for an article or come to your school to take a photo for the local newspaper. Download our media guide here for some useful tips on how to go about communicating with your local media. You may even like to invite your local Store Manager to attend!
Letter to Parents Template
Download the Letter to Parents Template to let them know that your school is collecting vouchers and to encourage them to help collect vouchers for your school and promote voucher collection among family and friends. If you participated in the Coles Sports for Schools program last year don’t forget to include images and stories of equipment the school received and how the school has used their new equipment.school community!
Newsletter/Noticeboards/School Website
To help build your voucher tally you could utilise your school newsletter, noticeboard and schoolwebsite to communicate information relating to the Coles Sports for Schools program - including details of your school's collection target and your sports gear wishlist.
Keep your school community up to date regularly using these channels to ensure that students and their families collect vouchers for your school throughout the entire program. You could even add a picture of your school thermometer, the Sports for Schools Newsletter Banner or the Coles Sports for Schools logo.
Sports for Schools Logo
Click on Coles Sports for Schools logo and then right click and select "Save Picture As...". Download the Coles Sports for Schools logo and use it in a number of ways to promote your voucher collection:
- Insert it into your school newsletter to remind the school community to collect vouchers for your school
- Place it on your school’s website to encourage participation in the program.
- Print it off and give it to the younger students to create banners and posters to hang around your school.
Sports for Schools Posters
Download additional copies of the Sports for Schools Poster to place around your school or in key locations within your local school community.
Run an activity for younger students to create their own banners or posters - make sure the posters are bold, bright and easy to see from a distance. Fewer and bigger images are better than lots of little ones as it draws more attention. Butcher’s paper or A3 sheets are ideal for school corridors, classrooms and notice boards. Download the Coles Sports for Schools logo to add to your posters!
Origami Envelope
Students can download the origami envelope to keep their Sports for Schools vouchers safe and sound until they are able to deliver them to their schools voucher collection box! Especially good for the school holidays... students can decorate the envelope with their favourite Sports for School design!

Students can download the cricket or gymnastics themed Colouring Templates to decorate the classroom with a sporty theme. Encourage the students to create their own unique Templates for other students to colour too. Especially good for the school holidays...
