Tallying your vouchers

Do I need to count my schools vouchers?

If your school doesn’t have the time or resources available to count your vouchers then all you need to do is collect them. Then at the end of the program we will arrange for an independent party to count your vouchers on your behalf (at no cost to your school).Once your voucher tally is confirmed we will advise your school of exactly how many vouchers you have collected and you can select your preferred sports gear from our online catalogue. It’s too Easy!

Last year many schools did just that, but there were also many schools who enjoyed the thrill of the weekly count and asked us to help them by providing some online tools to monitor their school’s weekly progress. So if your school wants to set some sports gear targets and monitor progress towards achieving those goals from now thru 18th October then the online tally and wishlist tools are there for you to use. The tools are available to help you set up your school’s wishlist and share your achievements with the wider school community! So in summary your school can elect to do one of three things when it comes to voucher counting:

  1. Count their vouchers each week and update the online Voucher Tally
  2. Count all their vouchers at the end of the program and update the Voucher Tally with the total count.
  3. Not count their vouchers and return them to us and we will arrange for an independent party to count them on your behalf (at no cost to your school).

What are the benefits of keeping a weekly tally of our vouchers?

This year our Sports for Schools website will help you to keep track of your weekly voucher tally and also help your school create a sports gear wishlist.By entering your weekly tally online you can dynamically track your progress towards your sports gear target and motivate your school community to collect more vouchers to get more sports gear for your school!Your school's voucher tally will also be used by the Sports for Schools Team towards the end of the program when allocating the correct number of pre-paid Australia Post satchels to provide to your school for voucher redemption.

Can you select equipment before you tally your vouchers?

Yes! In September when the online wishlist tools become available, by logging in and visiting your Sports for Schools homepage, you will be able to browse through the sports gear catalogue and make a wishlist of times you would like to receive. This wishlist will create a running target, which the school can work towards by collecting vouchers.Schools can change their wishlist at any point during the program.

Can you select products that exceed your voucher tally?

Throughout the program your wishlist product selections may exceed your voucher tally however at the end of the program your final order will only be able to include sports gear equal to or less than the vouchers you have collected.
